Grok 4.5 is now available on just4o.chat.

xAI announced the model on July 8, 2026, positioning it for coding, agentic tasks, and knowledge work. It is available through xAI’s Responses and Chat Completions APIs, and the model documentation exposes a useful set of controls for people who want to work closer to the task.

A model for the working loop

Grok 4.5 is built for the moments where a conversation needs to become action: inspect a codebase, reason through a technical decision, search for current information, or work from an image. xAI’s documentation lists function calling, web search, X search, and code execution as supported tools.

Reasoning can be set to low, medium, or high, with high as the documented default. That makes Grok 4.5 a particularly natural fit for the rhythm of a real workspace: keep simple questions quick, turn up the depth for a difficult bug, and bring search into the same thread when the answer depends on what is happening now.
