Export your data from ChatGPT, upload the conversations.json file, and use the migration tool to work with up to your latest 100 conversations.
That history can become imported chats, downloadable files, or raw material for personas instead of a dead archive you have to leave behind.
Free tool, Aurora for full import
The migration tool itself is free: you can parse your export, separate chats into files, download them as a zip, and create personas from selected conversations without a subscription.
Full importing, where those conversations appear inside your account chat list, requires Aurora. That keeps the migration tool broadly usable while reserving full chat import for the higher tier.
How it works
Request a data export from ChatGPT, grab the conversations.json file, then drag and drop it onto the migration page.
just4o parses the file, shows what it found, and lets you decide whether to import, download, or extract persona context from those conversations. No manual copy-paste required.
Optional extras
Run “Separate” to turn the last 100 conversations into individual text files. Download them as a zip for backup or analysis.
Or select specific chats and run “Create persona”—we’ll analyze them with an LLM and distill a reusable persona (tone, style, preferences) you can attach to new chats. Your old vibe, ready for new conversations.
