Feature
Personalized opening messages and chat suggestions
Start every chat like it already knows you.
Empty state that isn’t empty
When you open a new chat we show a short, warm greeting—often with your name and the time of day—and a set of conversation starters tuned to the kind of user you are.
The greeting is 3–8 words, timezone‑aware, and optionally informed by your memories (for tone, not for quoting you). Suggestions are generated in the same spirit: useful, specific, and not generic one‑size‑fits‑all.
How it works
We generate a fresh greeting per session using your display name, timezone, and (when available) a light read of your interests so it feels personal without being intrusive.
Conversation starters are organized across Create, Code, Study, and Research with seasonal and contextual variety. Prompts are cached and refreshed on a schedule (e.g. daily) so you get variety without delay.
First‑time users see a clean branded welcome; returning users get something like “Good morning, Alex” and a grid of suggestions they can click to send instantly.
